SXT00030 SXT 3.0 Traction Compound Additive
SXT 3.0 was designed to provide superior performance in a minimum odour environment for both foam and rubber tyre racing. It has been engineered, tested and proven to be compatible with other additives. No worries about setup changes when switching compounds as SXT 3.0 provides the same on-track feel and performance as other additives. Another benefit we have noticed during the year is the ability to rejuvinate old foam tyres. In our tests we have taken 1 or 2 year old tyres and soaked them a couple times with SXT 3.0 and they tend to come back to "like new". Simply run them once and you have race ready tyres that you usually would have tossed away!
Carpet Foam and Rubber Tyre: Apply SXT 3.0 to clean tyres. Typically the entire rear tyres and a portion of the front tyres (starting at the inside edge) are coated, depending on traction conditions. Soak time before wiping is also dictated by traction conditions; longer soak = higher traction. Start by soaking the tyres for 15 minutes, timing it so that you wipe them 10 minutes before racing. Asphalt Foam: Apply SXT 3.0 to tires. Typically the entire rear tyres and a portion of the front tyres (starting at the inside edge) are coated, depending on traction conditions. Soak the tires for 20 to 30 minutes, timing it so that you wipe them 10 minutes before racing. Shorten soaking time if track is high bite.
