Um den Ausfederweg eines Autos optimal zu messen benötigt man sogenannte Ausfederwegslehren. Damit können sowohl der negative als auch der positive Ausfederweg bestimmt und gemessen werden.
Der Ausfederweg ist mit eines der wichtigsten Paramter im Setup da er z.B. für die Rollneigung und Gewichtsverteilung beim Beschleunigen, Bremsen und in Kurven einfluss nimmt.
