This detailed model captures the essence of the 1:1 vehicle with its spacious cabin and iconic style. The body shell is precision injection-molded, featuring sharp, clear contours and finely detailed elements, including the signature front grille, widened mirrors, door handles, windshield wipers, and lights. The transparent windows reveal a meticulously crafted dashboard and interior, adding to the model's realism and appeal.

Equipped with advanced lighting control modules, the model accurately simulates the real vehicle’s headlights, turn signals, and tail-lights. The model also features large, soft all-terrain tyres and realistic wheel hubs, allowing for both powerful crawling and high-speed runs.

The FCX18 chassis, derived from the FCX24 series, is engineered for exceptional off-road capabilities, featuring a metal beam construction, metal steering rods, and a low center of gravity. Its mid-mounted power assembly includes a 2-speed transmission, transfer case, and a 180 brushed motor, delivering power to the axles through universal-joint driveshafts. The portal axles enhance ground clearance and improve approach and departure angles.

For optimal crawling performance, the FCX18 comes standard with a straight axle but can be fitted with a planetary gear differential for improved high-speed stability. The two-speed gearbox offers strong torque for climbing and crawling as well as high-speed fun. Additional upgrades, such as metal differentials and brass wheel counterweights, are available to further boost performance, making the FCX18 a true blend of static model craftsmanship and dynamic trailing, racing, and crawling capabilities.
