We’ve had numerous requests for an ESC Cage for the #3355R version of the Traxxas VXL-3S ESC since the mounting tabs have been reported to us as weak. Why risk potential damage to your $220 (SRP) speed control when the RPM option is an inexpensive piece of insurance that will prevent those tabs from ever being a problem?
Our solution is a simple, yet strong and effective one. We eliminated the use of the two mounting tabs on the ESC in favor of a complete cage system that solidly locks the ESC in place using RPM indestructible nylons. Our ESC Cage is the most effective, durable and best protection for your speed control possible. By completely surrounding and capturing the VXL-3S ESC, damage from broken tabs and ejection from the vehicle has been completely eliminated.
