Der SiR ist in Japan der heisseste Vertreter der mittlerweilen 5.Generation der Civic-Reihe: Mit 170PS aus dem hochdrehenden DOHC V-TEC 4 Zylinder ist er ein willkommenes Tuning- und Rennfahrzeug und geniesst eine grosse Fangemeinde.

Tamiya bringt das Modell in einer Driftvariante, auf dem bewährten TT-02D Chassis.

Die Sticker beinhalten ein Carbon pattern Motorhaube- ganz so wie es in der Tuningszene besonders beliebt und verbreitet zur Anwendung kommt.

This exciting drift spec TT-02 assembly kit recreates the Honda Civic SiR (EG6). The EG was known as the "Sport Civic" in Japan, and was the fifth generation of the famous car. It had a vibrant look, said-to-be inspired by the famous Brazilian carnival atmosphere. The Civic had a 170hp inline-4 DOHC VTEC engine under the bonnet of the top-spec SiR hatchback, which made for plenty of power at the time. The car was a regular sight in Japanese and international racing competitions.

The TT-02 chassis on which this Honda Civic is mounted on is an amazing machine. The TT-02 chassis is an entry-level 4WD full independent suspension assembly kit that offers ease of assembly and easy maintenance. The TT-02D is the Drift Spec variant that includes special parts to make it a fun to drive drifting machine.

84431 1/10 R/C Porsche 934 Jägermeister (TA02SW) LIMITED EDITION

2016 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the Vaillant-liveried Tamiya Porsche 934 (Item 58001). It was the first ever Tamiya R/C car model and one which would kick off a major worldwide trend that still continues to this day. This kit is part of the celebrations of that anniversary, and recreates the 934 in distinctive Jägermeister livery. This highly detailed body runs on the short and wide TA02SW chassis and comes with a whole host of option parts.

The TA-02SW exhibits a short-wheelbase and has a wide track to accommodate the scale form of the real sports car. It normally features a tub chassis with 4-wheel, fully independent suspension coupled with a rear ball differential and a front gear type differential. This special edition is fitted with a double deck FRP chassis for increased rigidity.
